CARMYFIX CM-233
Description
It is a solvent soluble adhesive, based on synthetic rubber (neoprene) and resins. It is suitable for bonding leather, clth, rubber, EVA, natural rubber and so on in shoe industry. The addition of Carmydur hardener (3-5%) increases bonding strength and heat resistance. Due to special chemicals the dried glue shows excellent resistance to yellowing in sunlight which makes it very useful for white and light color shoes.
Application Fields
- Suitable for bonding leather, cloth, rubber, EVA, natural rubber, neoprene-hypalon e.t.c on leather, or synthetic uppers in shoe industry
- Suitable for bonding neoprene-hypalon inflatable boats. Adding CARMYDUR hardener (3 - 5 %) increases bonding strength and heat resistance. Due to special chemicals the dried glue shows excellent resistance to yellowing in sunlight which makes it very useful for white and light colour shoes.
Application Steps
Clean thoroughly and roughen (if possible) both surfaces
Step 2Spread evenly the adhesive on both surfaces
Step 3Bond by pressing the surfaces after 20-25 minutes. Maximum bonding is achieved after 48 hours
Step 4Mixing at the material is advisable before each use
Storage
CARMYFIX CM – 233 can be stored for at least 12 months at a temperature of 20°C in well closed cans.
