The shelf life of the products, in a protected environment and with excellent packaging is twelve (12) months from the date of production. The adhesives of THRAKON require only water for their preparation and no other additional enhancer, provided that they are applied under normal conditions and for common use.
They are produced exclusively with quartz sand
The quartz sand of THRAKON is of high quality and purity and it is obtained from Ardas River in Orestiada area. Before being used it is processes in the plant (dried, calibrated). The grain of the sand is spherical, thus it provides the adhesives with very good workability and hard surface. In all adhesives, high quality enhancement additives and acrylic resins are used, which improve them or offer them additional qualities such as adhesion, rheology, workability, durability, etc.
All adhesives are produced in white and gray colors. Both the raw materials and the enhancement additives are non-toxic, completely safe during their use and do not require any additional precautions beyond the usual, such as avoiding prolonged contact with skin, eyes, ingestion etc.
To ensure a good adhesion, it is necessary to:
- Select a suitable adhesive (consult the technical department of our Company 800 100 1414)\
- Good surface preparation (see General Guidelines)
- Proper preparation of the mixture (see General Guidelines)
General Instructions
Instructions for proper tile adhesion
For tile adhesion we apply the adhesive, depending on the surface, and then combed with a notched trowel in order to have a uniform spreading of the adhesive. For large tiles spatulas with large teeth are used.
