Screed Waterproofing
What do we need?
The screed used for filling, leveling and waterproofing of swimming pools , tanks and basements should be impervious to water and create a protective barrier from simple moisture to the hydrostatic pressure.
How do we do it?
Adding reinforcing resin GLX 296 type Latex waterproof the cement even against hydrostatic pressure, protects from cracks and increases the adhesion to the substrate.
Products used
GLX 296
Step by step
- Reinforcing resin is added to the water in the mixture before mixing it with the screed in a ratio: GLX 296 to water = 1: 2 to 1: 3.
- Then, in the prepared mixture pour the cement and stir properly to create a homogeneous mass mortar with excellent workability.
- Prior to application of the screed on floor recommend to priming the substrate with brushable adhesion primer for mortar or concrete or with acrylic primer GLX 290 diluted at a ratio GLX 290 to water = 1: 3.
