What do we need?

Often plasters fail to protect adequately and over time the walls of buildings from moisture , rain and generally adverse weather conditions. Also due to the expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes during the year and between day and night often plaster cracking resulting moisture entering the building. This moisture freezes during periods of very low temperatures , creating additional cracks

How do we do it?

Adding the plaster polymer latex, THRAKON LATEX 296  improves their properties offering waterproofing , elasticity , resistance to frost and extreme weather conditions and chemical effects of corrosive environments, e.g. near the sea.

Step by step

  • Reinforcing resin is added to the water of the mixture before mixing with the plaster in a proportion: THRAKON LATEX 296 to water = 1:4 to 1:5.
  • Then to the prepared mixture, add the ingredients of the plaster and stir suitable to create a homogeneous mortar mass with good workability which standing on masonry without falling.
