What do we need?

Taking into consideration that outdoors temperature changes are larger and steeper resulting in greater and more frequent contractions, as well as the fact that there were conditions usually greater stress from vibration than indoors, we seek to use adhesives resistance to elasticity, tensile strength and ability to bend in attacks against chemicals – cleaners and especially with features antifrost.  We must always take into account the expected contraction, moisture and extreme conditions both during the implementation of tiles, and in the coming days that will follow the completion of the application.

How do we do it?

For this reason especially recommended highest technical characteristics adhesives such as type class C2  at the European standard EN 12004.

Step by step

• To prepare the substrate and apply the adhesive see the Guidelines for Adhesives. In preparing the background cover cracks and imperfections in walls and floors. We make sure to reinforce cracks that there is a possibility to be explored in the future. Where required filling and leveling of the surface can be made with the lightweight cementitious flooring (grains form crushed AAC) NSD 620. NSD 620 is ideal for applications where we have weight problem.
• Before applying the adhesive optionally recommended application of the acrylic high penetration primer GLX 292 FLEX PRIM for stabilizing the background and increased weld strength. Be careful when applying to vertical surfaces (skirting, beams) first normalize the background in order to use the least possible amount of adhesive and avoid the possibility of slipping.
• Where fitted tiles for decoration on walls independently and without continuity, should be used at the base and sides of construction guides to hold the tiles and avoid skids (or skidding). The drivers are removed the next day or before grouting. Grouting:
• For grouting use THRAKON grouts. The floors grouting and patency is allowed after 24 hours, while wall grouting is allowed after 12 hours.
