DECOR PU VARNISH
Description
Transparent polyurethane varnish, two components. It offers excellent waterproofing, high mechanical strength, resistance to chemical agents, protection against yellowing and UV radiation.
Application Fields
- Suitable for sealing and protection of any kind of structural element.
- Recommended for microcement systems, cementitious substrates, wood, metal, natural stone, for surfaces with standing water, showers, swimming pools, etc.
- It is highly recommended to protect DECOR microcement and highlight its shades.

Application Steps
The surface must necessarily be clean, dry and free of dust and mould before application. The substrate must be stable, all loose particles such as dust, oil, grease must be removed. Moreover, standing waters must be removed.
Step 2The surface should be waterproof and not subject to continuous rising damp. Also the humidity of the substrate must be less than 4% and the atmospheric humidity less than 65%.
Step 3Mix the hardener (component B) with all the resin (component A). For better stirring it is recommended the use of drill at low speed for 2-3 minutes. Stirring should be done carefully from the bottom to the top and to the container walls. Before use allow the mixture to stand for a few minutes.
Step 4For best results we recommend the application of two layers of DECOR PU VARNISH. For the application use a roller or brush without leaving excess material. DECOR PU VARNISH must penetrate well the application surface. For best protection you should apply a second layer within 24 hours, depending on the application temperature conditions.
Step 5For demanding applications such as swimming pools, tanks, showers and surfaces subject stagnant waters and hydrostatic pressures it is recommended to apply at least 3 layers of DECOR PU VARNISH.
Storage
Metal twin pack (A and B component) of 1kg in 12 pieces cartons boxes with and in a pack of 4kg. Store in sealed containers in a dry environment at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C for 24 months from date of production.
